If you are in the mood for something homey and comforting, a dish of our famous shakshuka will hit the spot. A mealtime staple in traditional Arabic cuisine, shakshuka is a poached egg dish simmering in a zesty tomato sauce with peppers, onions, and other savory ingredients. We serve ours with one of our warm and crusty baguettes or hot Pita. Dipping has never been more delectable!

At Mozzarella, we make four varieties of shakshuka. All are fresh, flavorful, and fabulous. If you love eggs and rich and robust sauce, this decadent, yet simple dish will be right up your alley. We serve our shakshuka dishes starting at 11:00 AM through closing, so come by whenever you have a craving for something creative and culinarily-crafted.

Try our Balkans shakshuka. Two perfectly poached eggs nestled in a sea of our homemade tomato sauce with tangy feta cheese, fresh pesto, and antipasti is not to be missed. Or perhaps you love a little “kick” to the palate. Order our Spicy shakshuka with sliced hot jalapeno peppers in our tomato sauce. The Eggplant shakshuka has a nuanced depth of flavor from roasted eggplant and feta cheese, and out Israeli shakshuka is our most traditional, with two eggs in our tomato shakshuka sauce. Try one, try them all. You can’t go wrong when a dish is so right!

While our shakshuka dishes are plentiful, you may want to pair yours with a side dish. How about a steamy baked potato or a crisp house salad? And there’s always room for home fries or mozzarella sticks.
